I love having projects and moving into the new home came with a to do a list a few years long! This week we did some major work and I am thrilled with the results. After 3 trips to lowes and 6 paint samples I choose a color for the babys room. My husband painted it and I am very happy with it. Now we have to figure out a way to paint the crib white. My parents came over last night and my mom sewed curtains for the playroom while my dad did electrical work to hang lantens in the playroom. I will post pictures soon. Also yesterday my mom and I cut out all the fabric for the baby bedding. It is going to be great!

Ha you can tell I am a mother of boys by the "work" picture I choose.

Progress

My husband and brother in law did alot to the new poolhouse yesterday. I am getting anxious now about what to do the the floor, celing and walls. We put up 1x4 on the celing that we plan on white washing. I am going to paint the floor white then add some design on top in a turquiose color. The celing will mot likely be white or I could paint it the turquiose color that I use in the floor. I would really like the think of somthing unique for the celing but nothing comes to mind. Heres how its looking now. My hubby is out there working as I type.. YAY!

Ok so my husband bought windows that we much larger than I planned so there goes our bar, area for a small refrigerator and banquette seating. I will figure out something else!

I'm loving the way this ceiling is painted, but want it on the floor.
