Yay!! Got my fabric.

The coopertone girl was my inspiration for the room. I love it! My sister is going to paint a large canvas for the nursery. I have looked for a print of it everywhere and cannot find it. The lighting is very dim as I took this with my cell phone but one can get the idea.

After sorting through 26 fabric swatches I have decided on these! So excited to start the bedding. I have also found a paint color but am unable to figure out how to show you guys.

The dots will be accent

Main fabric. For bumpers, skirt and queen bed skirt.

2nd accent. The paint color is a light aqua.

I love these curtains and plan to do something similar.

Summer Dreams

Wow, the weather is fabulous today in Texas. 78 degrees with NO humidity! Simply amazing, which has me dreaming about summer.Getting the new Coastal Living magazine in the mail didn't help much. This summer will be a little difficult because I will have a infant, 2 year old and 6 year old here at home ALL summer. We moved in last August and a few weeks later I found out I was pregnant so we didn't have much time to enjoy sitting around our new pool and sipping cocktails. The mosquito's are so bad here in the summer that I really want a hideout for my new baby to be able to sleep in without getting bit up. Living on the bay blesses us with a strong breeze at all times so its not too unbearably hot out. I would love my husband to whip up a three sided building and have outdoor curtains that can close and keep mosquito's out, throw in a chandalier, a comfy sofa, table make it look something like........

Add in a couple of loungers and pool umbrella

and finally, who is bring the wine?

Julia's Nursery

For my baby girl due in April I want a fun, bright, somewhat funky room. My mom is making her bedding (thank goodness she can sew!) and I have fallen head over heels for Amy Butler Love  . I ordered the 26 swatches, hopefully they will be here tomorrow and I can play around and decided which to use! Here are some more amazing nurseries and inspiration.

There is a queen size bed in the room that I am going to keep in the nursery. Sooo I'm having to figure out bedding for that as well. I want to find a turquoise paint color with fushia being the main accent color.
