Flea Market

Tomorrow me and my lil one are heading to Larry's Trade Days in Winnie. I am excited. Got my hunter boots, cash and a stroller that can get muddy ready. Let the deal hunting begin.

Update: We were unable to go because my baby was not feeling well. Maybe next month.

Jennifer Anistons Bachelorette Pad

You had me at "a spa bath with a soaking tub" ahh. Also the words "zen" and "24 person dining room table". Amazing. Just imagine the long dinners with good friends and lots of wine one could have. Not to mention having a private chef cook and then a housekeeper cleaning up afterwards. Sounds perfectly zen to me! I can't wait to see this home.

Lazy day

Its cold and rainey here today.Both boys are in school and there are dirty dishes in the sink but ALL I want to do is lay around and look on blogs. Very productive day! Now just let me curl up in one of these beds.

SCORE. 2 Lampshades 5.99 each. Pair of chairs 19.99. Table Runner (with PB tags still attached 3.99) and glass aromatharapy jar 3.99. The joy I get from these "steals" priceless...

I absolutely love these two lampshades. I think they will look best hung. Similar to these.

The table runner will look great on our picnic table and the two chairs will be painted and go in our new pool house. Until then they have found a home at our dinning room table.

Fabric at ikea? Who knew....

I have loved the pottery barn rugby curtains for a long time but didnt have a place for them.  I needed something to lighten up the kids new playroom I looked up the rugby curtians and they were on sale but still would have cost about $150. So, I decided to shop around for fabric but had to go to ikea first and to my suprise I found the perfect olive green and white wide striped fabric! So for about $45 I bought 4 yards of stripe fabric and 2 yards of solid navy fabric (for piping on side and bottom of curtains) for curtains and two throw pillows. Now its time to get sewing.

These are the rugby curtains, they also come in green stripe with navy piping.

This is the fabric they have at ikea for 8.99 a yard. I bought the green!

I really like this playroom

Now I need to find a similar stripe but in pink for the new "pool house".
