Can't Stop!

Now that we have started a few projects in our home I keep adding more and more. The half bath downstairs should be completed today (if the damn workers ever show up!). Why can't they ever be on time?!?!. So I am ready to start on kids bathroom upstairs. We have lived here a little over a year and they have yet to bathe or brush their teeth there. Here's the plan...

Ill do bead board halfway up wall and put the letter towel hooks on the bead board. Paint the vanity navy. Get new faucets. Hopefully it will be a pretty inexpensive redo and will be done by November 11. Wish me luck!

Here it is. I can't wait to finish. I have the faucets but we need to have a plumber come out and install them. At that time I am going to replace to counter top as well. Also, eventually I want this tile on the floor and subway tiles along the back of the tub.

Half Bath Ideas

I want a clean look. I'm doing painted grass cloth wall paper, bead board, white tile floors, 2 sconces. I can't decide what to do about the sink. The cheap way would be to get one custom built to resemble Tommy Bahmas Kingston collection ( which is in my bedroom, and I love). Buy a american standard sink console for about $900. I think I am going to buy a vessel sink, not my favorite but the most afforadable at $230. Here's my choices.

Tile: Lowes 2.57 for a 12'x12' tile. I need 30.

 I love this office, it  is Diane Keaton's home office. It is great!

Home Office

We finally bought a home computer after hurricane Ike took our last one out. Now its time to start the office. I want it to be comfy, light and  (yes, now that I have another girl in the house I can get away with it). Pale pink walls, white build in's,  fun floral curtains, comfy chairs and maybe a great colorfull credenza.

Julia Myles
