It's actually happening!

I have dreamed about a pool house since we moved in for quite a few reasons. Privacy being number 1, my neighboor next door can see our pool perfectly from his upper patio where he smokes several times a day. Second, with the new baby coming I need a place close to the pool to keep her out of the sun and away from the horrible mosquitos. Third, our pool is a good 60 yards from the house, a good walk when you realized you forgot sunscreen, towel etc. Finally, who would not love their own space to get away and have a glass of wine and a little quiet time everyone in awhile! So, this weekend we are shipping the kids away and updating the storage shed that was close to our home to our new pool house. My husband draged it to the new spot last night with his bulldozer. So exciting!

I saw this on the anthropologie website. $800! I think its going to be my inspiration for the pool house. Feminine, light and fun.

Wow, knew it could be recreated so I googled it and this is what I found. Says it was made for around$15. I really like the real twigs in this one.

Third Trimester

Oh my I am getting so close. I always find it funny that we as women get stressed out that everything has to be perfect in our homes before the baby comes. I have a long list of things that MUST be completed before the baby comes even though we know that babies sleep most of the day away in their first few months and IF we have the energy we can do it then. My poor husband has heard my list of wants so many times,mostly things that need to be done outside around the pool. I think we will live by the pool this summer so I want it all ready now even though we are still around four months from then. Oh well I can always blame it on crazy pregnancy hormones.
